GlamModelz Magazine: Let’s get started!  Tell me about your background…how did you get started in Photography?  Jamie Forhan: My first camera was a black and white Polaroid when I was in grammar school. I took pictures of my friends and family. I upgraded to a color Polaroid in college, still using it primarily to take pictures of family and friends. The first time I was paid for my work was an image I took of my totaled Toyota. The car had been struck in the rear at over 100 miles an hour by fleeing bank robbers and the car had not exploded, It was at a time when Toyota was getting a lot of bad publicity about gas tanks exploding when their cars were hit from behind. The Toyota dealer I bought the replacement from bought the image for $200.  I later joined Price Waterhouse International and used the international travel to upgrade my equipment in Hong Kong and then used it to take images in over 25 countries.   GlamModelz Magazine: Why Glamour /Beauty/Fashion?  What other genre’s and styles interest you? Glam Makeup Artist/Stylist, Featured Interview with Mariell Johnson of Hey There, Who Does Your Hair, I Wanna Go There! By Rick Trottier – RJT Images Despite all the incredible advances in information technology over the past 30 years and the equally impressive gains in the field of physics, a simple limiting factor in our daily lives is distance as it relates to travel. Quiet and introspective people tend to create deeply atmospheric work. Exciting and flamboyant people often author works of dramatic intensity.
