We look forward to seeing many great things from Arienne in the very near future.

We ask Ron of Ethereal Pix to find us a special model as his first contribution to GlamModelz Magazine and he arranged to share his work with Arienne as his first contribution. We were so taken with the beautiful Arienne we sent our ace reporter out to interview her.

GlamModelz Magazine: How did you get your start in the business? Arienne: I actually tried out for the San Francisco Gold Rush Cheerleaders and didn’t make it. I thought it was because I didn’t have a good enough picture submitted. So I did one photoshoot for better pictures to submit and got really into modeling. After the try outs I’ve been modeling ever since

GlamModelz Magazine: What are your goals personally and with your modeling career? Arienne: I am going to school to become a Lawyer, very different from modeling haha. As for modeling I want it to go as far as it will take me. I love modeling but I for sure need to have some type of degree to support myself in the end.

GlamModelz Magazine: What are your thoughts and issues with Implied and Nude posing? Arienne: I personally will not do any nude at all because I don’t want my family to feel awkward when looking at my pictures, plus when I do become a Lawyer that might not look so good if they found it. I rarely ever do implied but if I do it must be with a photographer who I completely trust. I think implied and nude shots can be very beautiful and shows that the model is very comfortable with her body, which is very important.

GlamModelz Magazine: Have you had the support of Family, Friends and loved ones with your modeling? Arienne: To my surprise yes. I didn’t know my parents would be so proud of me and actually love me modeling. My friends have always supported me and it feels good knowing there are people right by your side who will always support you no matter what.

GlamModelz Magazine: What are your thoughts on the whole escort issue? Arienne: I think as long as the photographer and model are both ok with it then sure. I understand why some photographers may not like it because the escort may get in the way or make it awkward but in the end what both people want are great pictures. If the model needs to have their best friend in the room to create those great pictures then go for it. Also the escort needs to know what is appropriate what is not, so they do not disturb the photoshoot.

GlamModelz Magazine: What would you like to see change in the industry from a model standpoint? Arienne: I actually would like to see more diversity, different heights, different weights. I’m 5’1” and that is no where near tall enough to do runway, which I think would be so much fun. Too many people think of beautiful models to be really skinny and that’s not true. Also many models feels they need to enhance themselves to look better and that is something I would like to see change.
GlamModelz Magazine: What gets you motivated everyday to stay in shape and look your best at all times? Arienne: HA! I used to work out everyday but lately my only work out is getting up from the couch and going to the bathroom. haha not too big on working out, although I do dance hip-hop and gogo dance every once in a while so that can be considered working out haha.

GlamModelz Magazine: Facial expressions are a big part of a photo session, how and where did you learn this?? Arienne: Oh man facial expressions are very important. I’ve only been modeling for 9 months so I still need to practice myself, but I learned from watching Tyra Banks. Now I’m no where near as good as her but that’s where I first actually watched someone doing it. Also tricks help too, mouthing the vowels: a, e, i, o, u can help making different facial expressions.

GlamModelz Magazine: If you had one thing to tell a model just entering the industry what would that be? Arienne: To try your best and just have fun with it. It’s ok if you get rejected and if your pictures aren’t as good as another model, the only person you should try and please is yourself. You come before anyone else, don’t let anyone make you feel bad for not giving a great shot or doing certain things that you are not comfortable doing. You are going to meet a lot of great people and a lot of not so great people. Use this to better yourself as a model and also as a person. And definitely don’t forget to atleast have a back up plan, because looks come and go and if you spend all of your time and money on a career that may not make it as far as you dreamed of, then at least you had something to fall back on.

GlamModelz Magazine: What excited you the most when you first started modeling? Arienne: What excited me most was seeing how much I improved and how more confidant I was as a person. Modeling really helped me gain more confidence.
