GlamModel: Alette
GlamModelz Magazine is pleased to introduce a new face to the Fashion, Glamour, Beauty Modeling industry, Alette of Longview, TX. Her obvious beauty is matched not only by her desire to succeed as a model, but the amazing potential that she possesses. We look forward to seeing many great things from Alette in the very near future.
GlamModelz Magazine: Welcome to GlamModelz Magazine Alette !
GlamModelz Magazine: How did you get your start in the business? Alette: As far as modeling goes, I started posing every time a camera was out at the age of 4. Model Mayhem has helped me further my dream of becoming a “real” model.
GlamModelz Magazine: What are your goals personally and with your modeling career? Alette: I would love to be in magazines modeling my favorite designer brands, showing young girls that it is possible to fulfill your dreams if you go for it. Besides modeling I want to teach elementary school and live a life of happiness with the man I love.
GlamModelz Magazine: Posing 101 any suggestions to newer models coming into the business? Alette: If it feels wrong or uncomfortable it probably looks awesome!!
GlamModelz Magazine: What have been your greatest successes to date? Alette: We shall see
GlamModelz Magazine: When working with a photographer do you bring your own concepts and idea’s as well as working with theirs? Alette: Of course, the more ideas the better.
GlamModelz Magazine: What are your thoughts and issues with Implied and Nude posing? Alette: I myself do not pose nude, however I think some of the greatest works of art are in the nude. Implied is definitely a possibility for me, if it’s done tastefully.
GlamModelz Magazine: Have you had the support of Family, Friends and loved ones with your modeling? Alette: Always!
GlamModelz Magazine: What are your thoughts on the whole escort issue? Alette: I think it’s important for a model to do what he/she feels comfortable with. I will always have some sort of escort with me for safety, comfort, and also to bounce ideas off of.
GlamModelz Magazine: What would you like to see change in the industry from a model standpoint? Alette: I think it is beginning to change, but mostly I would like to see the emaciated look of models disappear. I think it puts off a bad vibe for young girls and how they look at their bodies.
GlamModelz Magazine: What gets you motivated everyday to stay in shape and look your best at all times? Alette: You never know who may be out looking for their next potential client. When you look your best you usually feel your best too.
GlamModelz Magazine: How do you handle the inappropriate offers and sometimes rude individuals when they contact you for a session together? Alette: Kill the rude ones with kindness and if you don’t want to work, you don’t have to. That’s the glory of this business.
GlamModelz Magazine: Your thoughts on TFP or TFCD sessions in general? Alette: If a model is just beginning I think TFP shoots are great to be able to get some experience under your belt and have the chance to work with a variety of photographers to enhance both yours an their portfolio as well.
GlamModelz Magazine: Any suggestions to models about wardrobe? Alette: Bring anything and everything to a photo shoot!! What to have and where to find deals? Obviously clearance rounders at stores are great places to find deals, and the store? Well that just depends on what type of clothing you need.
GlamModelz Magazine: What excited you the most when you first started modeling? Alette: The outcome. Looking at all the great shots we got, going to different places for different shoots. It’s all very exciting.
GlamModelz Magazine: Facial expressions are a big part of a photo session, how and where did you learn this? Alette: Honestly it really came naturally to me. You do what you feel.
GlamModelz Magazine: Do you feel that flexibility and diversity are important to a model portfolio? Alette: In my portfolio yes. Some may be shooting for a certain look, but I want a variety.
GlamModelz Magazine:How do you handle rejection? from photographers, agencies and your piers? Alette: If it’s what you love then do it. When you start doubting yourself because of moral issues is when you should question if this is the right market for you.
GlamModelz Magazine: How do you handle imperfections.. and how important do you feel professional make up is to a model? Alette: Everyone has flaws! That’s why we have photoshop!!
no but really its all part of it, and the make-up , well if its going to be an extravagant look then yes a makeup artist would be nice. I myself can do my make-up pretty well, so there are times when that is not needed in my opinion.
GlamModelz Magazine: If you had one thing to tell a model just entering the industry what would that be? Alette: ALWAYS smile. You want people to remember you as the nice one. Not the snooty girl who thought she was a diva in the making.

Nice work. I will have to keep my on this place.
I take only as much weight in this story as far as it reads because the biggest thing i have learned during all of this is what we see and think is never the full gravity of the situation.
