Her obvious beauty is matched not only by her desire to succeed as a model, but the amazing potential that she possesses. GlamModelz Magazine: Welcome to GlamModelz Magazine Jamie!

Jamie, have you ever worked in the model industry before?
I have had a little training at John Robert Powers and have done some minor modeling for a friend’s custom western hat company.

What are your aspirations, inspirations, boundaries to break, or goals to achieve in your modeling career?
I would love to be able to put my face out there and show that I have more than just the girl next door look. I enjoy being in front of the camera and would love to know that I am not the everyday model for girls to look at and say I want to look like her in that I have curves and love every inch of them.

Please tell us about your greatest success or personal achievement to date, something that makes you very proud.
My greatest personal achievement would be knowing that I can support myself, I own my own truck and have just recently bought my own house, being as young as I am I feel very proud of myself for the financial stability and ability along with the responsibility it takes to acquire all of these things for myself.

Being a “Country Girl” at heart, how have you adapted to life in the big city?
It has been a big change for me; there are just so many more people! I am learning to come out of my bubble a little more and realize that crowds are not necessarily a bad thing. Learning to drive my truck through those little city streets has definitely challenged me to become a better driver!

Do you have any suggestions for other models regarding wardrobe, essential items to have, and where to find good deals?
Mostly to just know what size you are and know what is too small for your body; you want your clothing to fit you the right way instead of squeezing you in all the wrong places. My personal essential items to always have are a pair of socks; boots are difficult to put on without a pair, a good belt, and a good bra. As for good deals it truly depends on what you are looking for in a wardrobe, if you only need to wear it once a discount store is just fine but if you need it to last then sales at the higher quality stores, and outlet stores are your best bet.

What excited you most when you began to model?
I think what excited me most was the energy and the pace of a shoot, you get to the studio and you only have so much time to accomplish everything you and your photographer are looking to accomplish and you always have to be on your game or there is no way you will get it all done.

Beyond your job, modeling and daily activities; what do you do to get away from it all and treat yourself?
I get out into the country and ride horses, or go out for a day of 4-wheeling and target practice. Mudding is always a great time in the summer and if I can’t get out to do any of that I very much like to curl up with a book and read the day away.

What type of photo shoots/styles are you most interested in or interested in trying in the future?
I enjoy fashion and glamour. I would love to try pin-up, and I think that commercial is always fun

What would you like to tell our viewers; any closing comments, anecdotes, advice?
You cannot always judge a person by what is on the outside, remember underneath all that make-up, fashionable clothes, and curled hair may be a rough little country girl just waiting to go and play in the dirt.
