GlamModel Lula May
GlamModelz Magazine interviews GlamModel Lula May, of Redway, CA. Lula May, has a unique style that is all her own. With creative posing, beautiful features and expression, Lula May is fast becoming a recognizable face within the Glamour Modeling Industry.

GlamModelz Magazine: We had a Great time shooting with Lula May, so we setup an interview as soon as her plane touched down on her way back from her quick Hawaiian vacation.
GlamModelz Magazine: When working with a photographer do you bring your own concepts and idea’s as well as working with theirs? Lula May: Most of the concepts I have shot have been my ideas. I am a very imaginative person. I love taking a beautiful thought and creating an amazing image. But it is always nice to work with someone that has their own ideas too.
GlamModelz Magazine: What are your thoughts and issues with Implied and Nude posing? Lula May: The human body is the most natural thing. It confuses why people are so scared of it. Maybe their not scared. I think that they just feel guilty for looking. So instead of dealing with their own issues, they just want everyone else to cover up.
GlamModelz Magazine: Have you had support from your friends and family? Lula May; My friend and family have been a great support. It is funny to me how men/boys deal with it though. In the beginning modeling is one of the reasons they are attacked. Then it becomes one of the things that they cant stand.
GlamModelz Magazine: What gets you motivated everyday to stay in shape and look your best at all times? Lula May: I have always been an active person. I played sports in high school. Then worked in a gym when I graduated. I believe that an investment in ones physical self is the best investment you can make. Its the only thing that you know you will have till you leave this world. So why not make the very best of it.
GlamModelz Magazine: How do you handle the inappropriate offers and sometimes rude individuals when they contact you for a session together? Lula May: There are going to be inappropriate people in your life no matter what business you are in. I deal with them the same way anyone would. Just tell them no thank you, ignore it or find someone help if you need too.
GlamModelz Magazine: Your thoughts on TFP or TFCD sessions in general? Lula May: As far as TFP or TFCD goes I think its a great way to start a port. Just make sure you pick respectful people. At this point I feel that I have enough experience that I don’t need to go looking for TFP any more. But if there is a photographer that I really like I will do a TFP shoot.
GlamModelz Magazine: Do you feel that flexibility and diversity are important to a model portfolio? Lula May: Is that a trick question? Of course flexibility and diversity is important. The more you can do the more work you will get. Be open to ideas and people will bring them to you.
GlamModelz Magazine: How do you handle rejection? from photographers, agencies and your piers? Lula May: Rejection is a funny word. All it means to me is that I found the wrong person not the other way around. I have been to a few casting calls and didn’t hear back. But that didn’t mean I wasn’t model material. It was just that they were looking for something in particular.
GlamModelz Magazine: How do you handle imperfections.. and how important do you feel professional make up is to a model? Lula May: Imperfections is a matter of opinion. A lot of people have a picture of perfection in their mind. But I don’t think perfection has just one look. Perfection is being ready, on time and having a good attitude. Take care of your skin hair and teeth. Never show up to a shoot without your nails hair and makeup done. Unless its provided for you on site. Then the only possible imperfection would be bad weather.
GlamModelz Magazine: If you had one thing to tell a model just entering the industry what would that be? Lula May: Never go to a shoot alone. Take a friend, parent, sibling or whatever. Make sure that you comfortable in front of the person and that they are going to be OK with waiting. You don’t want to take someone that is going to whining and distrupting.
