GlamModel Shara
GlamModelz Magazine interviews GlamModel Shara, of San Francisco, CA. Shara, has a unique style that is all her own. With creative posing, beautiful features and expression, Shara is fast becoming a recognizable face within the Glamour Modeling Industry.
GlamModelz Magazine: How did you get your start in the business? Shara: I first started doing promotions all over the Bay Area and once I got a taste of the business, I wanted to know more and get into it on a more professional basis.
GlamModelz Magazine: What are your goals personally and with your modeling career? Shara: To go as far in the modeling business as I can and ultimately have it lead to me owning my own business and thriving with it.
GlamModelz Magazine: Posing 101 any suggestions to newer models coming into the business? Shara: As weird as it sounds, I find that looking in the mirror and looking at your poses helps a lot…like going through all the emotions: mad, sad, happy, excited, fierce, etc.
GlamModelz Magazine: When working with a photographer do you bring your own concepts and idea’s as well as working with theirs? Shara: Of course, I love hearing ideas from the photographer especially if they combine well with mine. Two artistic minds make for a great shoot.
GlamModelz Magazine: What are your thoughts and issues with Implied and Nude posing? Shara: I’m Ok with Implied as long as the people I’m working with understand that’s as far as it goes. I’m too seasoned a model to be manipulated or persuaded into doing anything past that.
GlamModelz Magazine: What are your thoughts on the whole escort issue? Shara: It has nothing to do
with me. Next question.
GlamModelz Magazine: What would you like to see change in the industry from a model standpoint? Shara: I would like the modeling industry to realize being a size 0 just ISN’T CUTE!! It may be the size to fit the designers’ clothes since they only seem to carry smalls, but curvy has always been the eye candy and always will.
GlamModelz Magazine: How do you handle the inappropriate offers and sometimes rude individuals when they contact you for a session together? Shara: I ignore them, people like that usually know they’re not taken seriously
GlamModelz Magazine: Your thoughts on TFP or TFCD sessions in general? Shara: As long as it benefits both parties, I don’t see anything wrong with it.
GlamModelz Magazine: What excited you the most when you first started modeling? Shara: That I finally got into the business whereas before I thought modeling was never an option for me, it was a pleasant surprise.
GlamModelz Magazine: How do you handle imperfections.. and how important do you feel professional make up is to a model? Shara: I embrace my imperfections. It’s what makes me unique and that’s what I want. Make up is essential because it helps diversify your port with different looks.
GlamModelz Magazine: If you had one thing to tell a model just entering the industry what would that be? Shara: RESEARCH! RESEARCH! RESEARCH! Always do the research whether it be photographers, agents, and even models!
