Variety is always the delightful spice of life. Certainly routine has its appealing merits, but it becomes stultifying after a time and all color drains out of existence when little about the day is changeful in nature. New, innovative, fresh additions to the consistent cadence of the daily grind make it far more exciting and enjoyable. Glam Model Brittany Taylor of Worcester, MA is the very essence of eclecticism and inventive beauty. On the surface, one of the immediately engaging and alluring facets of Brittany’s incalculable magnificence is the delicate contradictions of her allure. On one hand, she is the classic Bombshell Beauty; blonde and curvaceous with porcelain skin and large, luminously lovely eyes. But her creatively colored and styled hair, her tattoos and her choice of diverse accessories and jewelry all are immediate clues as to how incredibly extraordinary Brittany’s spirit and mindset are. She is the essence of ingenuity and is unafraid to try new looks and styles in all forms of glamor. And we are the better for her audacity and determination to walk her own path. Brittany’s appeal reaches out to those who love classic glamor, because curves like hers are simply legendary and unforgettable, but her love of uniquely exciting ideas and pursuits makes her the kind of model that would be the darling of the alternative scene. Yet, her classically heartbreaking face is the stuff of the mainstream Beauty Imagery set. She really can do it all, but it is her love of and affinity for Glamor that causes GlamModelz Magazine to be as excited as possible to showcase Brittany Taylor. We see a wide variety of Beauty and Sex Appeal here at GlamModelz and what makes this feature exceptional is that Brittany brings her penchant for variety and spice to our magazine. Just as Brittany can make any day that I see her in my studio brighter and better, she will bring that same incandescence and wondrous interest in fun to us. And we are much cheerier for her timely arrival.
Even when I was a little girl, I was interested in modeling and that fascination has only gotten stronger each year. I came to serious modeling through a few of my friends who had worked with Rick Trottier and had a great experience. They referred me, Rick and I sat down and talked and when I was ready, we had our first shoot. Since then, Rick and I have worked together very regularly. It has been wonderful to have someone believe in your potential and try to actually create opportunities for you. My goals are simple. I want to keep working on refining my modeling skills, hone my look so that I am always at my very best and keep my fans wanting more. I know I have a very unique look and staying away from the crowd is important to me. If I can continue to build my success through Light Works Studio, that would be great!
Modeling is something that really fires me up. It is an exciting feeling to get in front of a camera. There is a rush that is sometimes hard to describe. I have always been photogenic and confident in my style. I also love being creative and capturing a very unique, enticing moment. I have a lot of complex sides to my personality and modeling allows me to showcase them in ways I just don’t get in other parts of my life. I like being bold, inventive and am not afraid to be different. Staying active and being involved is what really contributes to my goals in modeling and being a healthy person. You can always see a glowing and happy face in a picture. I really always want to be that girl. The more active and involved in life I am, the happier I am and the better model I will be. For example, there are a variety of ways to become better with modeling techniques like facial expressions. If you’re working with a photographer who is someone who will teach you skills, make sure you listen!! That is a great place to start. From there, practice in a mirror, memorizing how facial expressions feel. That is what I have done. The muscles in your face feel different with each look. I have learned how to show a diverse set of looks from sultry face, to a sweet-sexy face, to a damsel in distress bondage look. But it takes lots of practice. But practice will pay off. It’s been a pretty amazing seven months or so. I made the cover of Modelsmania Magazine and RHK Magazine. Both of those were huge achievements for me. I’ve been featured in Modelsmania twice, been in RHK and Florida Magazines once each too. I have been in some of Rick’s GlamModelz Magazine articles and now I get to be featured here! It’s all pretty exciting and I can’t wait to see where it is going to lead.
I usually do put a lot of thinking into my shoots, but thoughts tend to come to me randomly. I am usually inspired by a lot of different sources. Sometimes it’s a movie I’ve seen or a TV Show with some kind of really exciting concept. Other times it’s a person I admire like a model or an actress. I don’t like copying anything or anybody, but I do like to find inspiration in certain places and then take it in my own direction. I am a hairdresser and as such, coming up with creative ideas or blending someone’s thoughts with my own is something I have a lot of practice doing. I transfer that to modeling and some interesting stuff comes out. Rick encourages me to be creative, sexy and daring. While I do think a lot about what I want to create at each and every shoot, concepts for shoots just seem to come into my head haphazardly and I go from there. I don’t generally try to force them. I talk with Rick about what magazines want. And of course I certainly like to push boundaries. I have a lot of interests and I am not afraid to show all those curious sides and dark corners of my personality. On the topic of ideas, people always like to put a person in a box, like “which do you like, leather or lace”. I like both of them, but in certain ways. Lace is a huge favorite of mine!! I love see-through lace and how I can tease the camera with some peekaboo moments. I think a lot of people thought I was going to say leather. I am not as keen on wearing leather. When leather is involved, I prefer to be wearing nothing and have the leather be the restraints holding me helplessly bound. That’s when I like leather. You’ll have to keep an eye out for what’s to come as to new and wild ideas.
I would like to see even more diversity in the modeling world when it comes to looks, styles and concepts. The more “out of the ordinary” poses always catch my eye, and of course I love and embrace all the “out of the box” ideas. I love fun, crazy colors and wildness. Modeling can get caught in some awful trends and become a boring mess of people copying each other constantly. That is pretty dull. I like to be different and show people that they can’t always predict how I am going to act. When I was given the chance to do some implied nudes for my first magazine feature, I decided to just go for it. Why not? I am very comfortable in my own skin, am confident about my body and know that posing nude has some benefits. It has gotten me some paid work through Rick’s studio and plenty of great publication. I think models do need to think it through. It isn’t for everyone. For me, posing nude was the right decision.
Models always need to shoot content that they are 100% comfortable with. Rick and I always are on the same page with content that I know will look great in a feature and that shows what is ME on the inside. Models need to think about how they will be seen in pictures and go from there. If you like shooting certain types of content, than you should shoot it! I think it is important for girls to be safe, so taking an escort with you when you have never worked with a photographer is always a good idea. Once you get to know a photographer and feel comfortable with them, it’s not as important. Rick and I work both ways. When I feel like bringing someone, I do and he is happy to have another person there to help. At other times, it works just fine when it is just the two of us. But we’ve grown to have a very trusting professional relationship, which makes it easy to work together.
