My name is Jordan Weeks. I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, which happens to be one of my favorite cities to shoot in! I started shooting December of 2015, and I feel like I’ve gained so much wisdom and experience from such a short time. The models and photographers I’ve encountered throughout my journey have passed so much knowledge on to me, from posing and facial expressions to angles and camera troubleshooting. This industry has given me a creative outlet I can really throw my all into, as well as a future and career. One of my favorite shoots was in a graffiti covered warehouse with high drop offs and scary ledges; normally I would be terrified but I was really able to get comfortable and adventurous and let out so much creative energy which made for an amazing shoot. I think whenever you add fun and adventure and laughs to the mix, a shoot becomes less of a business/obligatory event and more of a relaxed and comfortable environment. I enjoy shooting in downtown Dallas, I love the urban vibes and the people you come across. Being able to connect with my surroundings allows me to sink into the background and really feel the emotion the photographer wants me to portray. So although I’ve only been shooting for a little under a year, I believe I have already been molded into something that can do nothing but grow here on out. I love taking in all I can to be
a better model and I hope I meet many more amazing people to learn from!
